Currently accepted: Near Mint (NM) or very lightly played cards only. S&D TCG does not currently accept Moderately Played, Heavily Played, or Damaged cards.
Understanding card conditions
The summaries below are based on TCGplayer’s condition guidelines. Check both sides, corners, edges, and the surface under good lighting.
Near Mint (NM)
Looks nearly unplayed, with minimal handling wear. A few slight flaws, such as tiny edge marks or minor scratches, may be present. Near Mint does not mean flawless or a guaranteed grading result.
Lightly Played (LP)
Shows minor handling or play wear, such as small edge marks, scratches, or scuffs. Flaws should be limited and should not compromise the card’s structure.
Moderately Played (MP)
Has more noticeable wear, which may include moderate scratching, scuffing, edge wear, or limited bends and creases within the condition standard.
Heavily Played (HP)
Shows extensive wear or many imperfections, potentially including substantial whitening and creasing, while remaining structurally sound and identifiable.
Damaged (DMG)
Has defects beyond the other condition standards, potentially including tears, splitting, severe bends, liquid damage, or other problems affecting the card’s integrity.
Our current buying standard
We accept Near Mint cards and only the cleanest examples of Lightly Played cards, with very minimal wear. “Very lightly played” describes S&D TCG’s stricter buying preference; it is not a separate TCGplayer condition category. Not every card classified as LP will qualify.
Do not include cards with creases, tears, liquid damage, or heavy wear. If you are unsure, send clear front and back photos before shipping. Final acceptance and payout are confirmed after arrival and inspection.
